Fantasy Rules

Rosters & Drafting:

The maximum players that you can have on your roster is: 3 Quarterbacks, 5 Running Backs, 7 Wide Receivers, 3 Tight Ends, 3 Place Kickers and 3 Team Defenses.

When Drafting:

Each year you get 6 Draft picks.

If you have a player that retires or gets released from the team he plays for, and doesn't get picked up from another team. You get an extra draft pick and you have to let Rich know what player you are going to put into this players place at the draft. So that if this player returns to the NFL, then you will have to let Rich know, what player you are going to get rid of then.

You can pick-up any position at any time, it is your choice.

Be advised, that you are taking a risk, if you pick up a back-up Quarterback. You are allowed to do so, but take a chance all season with just 2 Quarterbacks.

After the draft, you have until the Friday before week #3 to turn in your cuts. If you do not turn them in, then Rich will cut, starting from your last draft pick, the players you drafted until he reaches the rosters outline specified in the beginning of this document.

If you want to trade players:

If you and another Team Owner want to trade players, you must at least trade for the same position or positions to make a legal. For Example: a Qb for a Qb , or a Qb and Rb for a Qb and Rb.

You must give your trade idea to Rich, and if he has any questions about it. He will put it up to everyone in the league to vote on before the trade is final.

If Rich doesn't approve it and you think it is a good trade, then everyone will vote on it no matter what.

The trade deadline, is the 5th week. No trades after the 5th week.

Injured Players:

If any of your players get injured and are on the injury report and don't say probable for them. Then you can pick-up someone to replace him in the same position. Except for Wide Receivers, you must have at least 2 of them out before you can pick-up another one.

To pick-up someone for Injured Reserve, you must get in contact with Rich. Because the first person to ask or send an E-mail will get first choice. Don't just assume that you get anybody available, because they might be taken.

Rich will send out a notice to everyone in the league that someone has taken someone for Injured Reserve.

Exchange of Line-ups:

Line-ups are to be exchanged by no later than 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. I changed this to this time because everyone is on the Internet, but the only problem with this is, that it doesn't give you a lot of time to change your line-up, or if you forget, it doesn't give anyone much time to notify you about being late and will give your opponent an easy win by forfeit. Don't forget about Thursday games, you must have the players that are playing in this game sent before Thursday kickoff.

So, if you sent your line-up and didn't receive a line-up. E-mail or call Rich and he will do what he can to find out why.

If you already exchanged line-ups and see that you want to make a change, then send an E-mail to your opponent and Rich so that they can see what time you sent it and make sure that it was before kickoff of either player that was playing.

If you have three defenses on a bye then you can pick up another team for just that week, and they are available, for as first come first serve!

Adding up your score & finding out if you won or not:

Each column that you add up is one point, except for total points. That is for tie-breakers only. So for all the offensive categories (except for Quarterback Interceptions), sacks, yards lost on sacks, Fumbles, Interceptions and forced punts on the defensive categories. The person who has the most wins that category, and the other categories in defense & the Quaterback Interceptions are considered, that whoever has the least, means that they win that category.

For the Quarterback Completion Ratio: You take the attempts that a Quarterback attempted divided by the number of completions and round off to the nearest tenth (59.2, 60.7, etc...)

Tie-breakers:

For tie-breakers, you tally up the total points, and who ever has the most points wins all the ties in Offense. For Defense, you take the total rushing yards allowed plus the total passing yards allowed for both teams, and which ever team has the least, wins all the defensive tie-breakers.

If the total points are the same for Offense and the total yards for Defense are the same, then you take you total offensive yards minus your total defensive yards allowed ( Rushing & Passing added together). Then you take your opponents total offensive yards minus your opponents total defensive yards allowed, and whoever has the higher total wins all the tie-breakers.

For the total points column:

Touchdowns = 6 points

2 point conversions from the extra point column = 2 points ( in the extra point column, it only = 1 )

Field goals = 3 points

Extra points = 1 point

If your Opponents Defense or your Defense has the team that they are playing, score a Touchdown on a kickoff, then take off 6 points from the points allowed field in defense.

When your done figuring out if you won or not, E-mail your opponent to see if you both ended up with the same score. If there are any problems, talk it over with each other. When you're both done figuring out who won, E-mail Rich and give him the final score. If you two don't agree then E-mail Rich.

Playoffs:

Rich will contact everyone as soon as he figures out who is playing whom.

The winner gets 60% of the league money, and the loser gets 30%.
